Leasing Specialist | The Collier Companies

This is an on-site role, based in one of The Collier Companies’ community offices in Gainesville, a city known for its natural beauty, temperate climate, and rich educational, cultural, and commercial opportunities. As a Leasing Specialist, you are the first point of contact for prospects and residents. You understand that for our residents, it’s not just an apartment, but their home. You enjoy engaging with diverse people and creating memorable experiences.

Your primary responsibilities include creating positive experiences for potential residents, following up on leads, and closing lease agreements. Success in this role requires goal orientation, personal accountability, and a strong desire to learn, lead, and grow.

Qualifications

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to residents and prospects
  • Lease apartment homes by building relationships and highlighting community benefits
  • Consistently close deals via phone, email, and in person; be the expert on our properties and neighborhood
  • Follow up effectively to generate leads
  • Develop and execute promotional campaigns, including online advertising, direct marketing, social media, and resident events
  • Support occupancy goals through lease renewals
  • Maintain accurate resident records
  • Work weekends as needed
