Peak Living is seeking a qualified Leasing Specialist to join our team!

Overview
Under the direction of the Community Manager, the Leasing Specialist supports all aspects of community operations.

Responsibilities

1. The Leasing Specialist fulfills customer service and leasing responsibilities, including telephone marketing, greeting prospective residents, gathering prospect information, setting appointments, showing apartments, generating quotes, closing deals, securing deposits, and assisting with rental applications and credit verification.
2. Assist in preparing paperwork for new and renewal lease agreements.
3. Insert lease renewal rates as approved by the Community Manager and assist in delivering renewal letters to secure lease renewals.
4. Review resident files and records to identify unpaid or late fees, communicate with residents about balances, implement procedures for collecting delinquencies, and enforce leases to maximize revenue.
5. Assist the Community Manager with organizing resident activities, preparing newsletters, and maintaining resident loyalty and retention.

Qualifications

1. Previous experience as an onsite Leasing Consultant in multi-family housing, hospitality, or similar industry is preferred.
2. A high school diploma or equivalent.
3. Ability to communicate effectively in English.
