Job summary

Waterton is seeking a Leasing Specialist to sell and renew residential leases, tour the community, and prepare lease packages. You will close sales and deliver exceptional customer service to prospective residents, building a welcoming, engaged community.

You will coordinate with the onsite team to ensure models and common areas are ready for occupancy and assist in marketing efforts to attract renters. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities accompany the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
• At least 1 year of sales or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Generate interest in the community by answering questions, conducting tours, following up with prospective residents, and closing sales.
• Provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective residents and engage them in programs to increase satisfaction and reduce turnover.
• Ensure leasing office, models, vacant units and common areas are ready for showings and occupancy.
• Process rental applications and prepare lease packages with accurate resident information.
• Maintain knowledge of local market and assist in developing marketing plans to boost community visibility.

Job Summary

As a Leasing Specialist, you will sell and renew residential apartment leases, tour the community, follow up with prospective residents, and prepare lease packages. Above all, you will have a strong drive to close the sale, exceed resident expectations by providing exceptional customer service, and build and/or maintain a true sense of community.

Your Impact and Job Responsibilities

• Generate interest in the community by effectively answering questions, conducting tours, following up with prospective residents, and executing sales closing techniques successfully.
• Provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective residents. Engage current residents through ongoing programs and events designed to increase satisfaction and minimize turnover.
• Ensure leasing office, models, vacant units and common areas meet readiness standards.
• Process all rental applications for approval and prepare lease packages, while ensuring resident and customer information is properly documented and protected.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of local market and conditions, and assist in developing marketing plans that incorporate advertising, internet, outreach marketing and referrals to increase visibility of the community.
