Job summary

Founders 3 in Madison is seeking a Leasing Specialist for the luxury Two Points Crossing community. You will greet and qualify prospective residents, show the property, and close leases, using strong product knowledge.

Update availability, process applications (credit checks, rental history), and assist with renewals. You will also participate in outreach marketing to attract residents and maintain strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service background; real estate and/or leasing experience preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills; Yardi knowledge a plus.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to build client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospective residents and ask questions to cover qualifying criteria; track and follow up on inquiries.
• Show the community and apartment/model; use product knowledge to meet clients’ needs and close the sale.
• Update availability report and process applications for approvals (credit check, rental history, etc.).
• Submit processed applications to the Property Manager for approval and follow up on status.
• Ensure apartment is ready for move-in on the agreed date.
• Assist in monitoring renewals; distribute and follow-up on renewal notices.
• Participate in outreach marketing activities to attract prospective residents and conduct market surveys.

Other Key Responsibilities Include

• Greet and qualify prospective residents and ask questions to cover all qualifying criteria, track and follow up on all inquiries.
• Show the community and apartment/model and apply product knowledge to clients’ needs by communicating the features and benefits; close the sale.
• Update availability report and process applications for approvals. (i.e., credit check, rental history, etc.) Submit processed applications to the Property Manager for approval. Follow up with applicant regarding status.
• Ensure apartment is ready for resident to move-in on agreed date.
• Assist in monitoring renewals. Distribute and follow-up on renewal notices.
• Participate in outreach marketing activities on a regular basis to obtain prospective residents, conduct market surveys and shop competitive communities.
• Maintain accurate monthly commission records on leases and renewals for bonus purposes.
• Assist in planning resident functions. Attend functions and participate as host for any functions as directed by the Property Manager.

Requirements

• Strong customer service background required; real estate and/or leasing experience preferred.
• Strong MicroSoft Office skills are required. Yardi knowledge a plus
• Exceptional communication skills – both verbal and written – as well as excellent client service, sales and relationship development skills.
