Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and ability to close deals.
• Prior leasing, sales or customer service experience.
• Familiarity with Yardi CRM software and MS Office tools.
• Bilingual Spanish—preferred for written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lease apartments and facilitate renewals with prospects and residents.
• Tour property, qualify prospects, prepare lease documentation.
• Handle move-in procedures and maintain resident relations.

A Day in the Life:

The Leasing Specialist is responsible for being a primary contact for residents and prospective residents by leasing apartments, facilitating renewals, coordinating resident activities, and maintaining resident relations. This includes generating and handling traffic, leasing apartments, qualifying prospects, preparing lease documentation, and completing move-in procedures. Are you a sales Rock Star? While touring with future residents, you will be expected to close the deal by helping them find their perfect new home. So are you a people person, a self-starter, and looking for a stable career? Then we are looking for someone just like you for our leasing teams!

Leasing Specialist must haves:

• Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, e-mail and a familiarity with the internet required. (We use Yardi CRM Software)
• Positive 'can do' attitude, professionalism and a high level of enthusiasm.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a large team
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Exhibit strong demonstration and closing skills.
• Saturday hours required (10am-4pm) but get paid 8-hours!
• Prefer 1-year or more of leasing experience
• Prior Customer Service & Sales Experience
• Valid Drivers License & Proof of Insurance
• Bilingual (Spanish speaking and writing) Preferred
• Hours Monday thru Friday 9am-6pm; Saturdays 10am-4pm on rotation
