Job summary

The Madison North in Columbus, OH is seeking a Leasing Consultant to manage apartment leasing and support office staff. Weekend hours are rotating, with duties that include resident interactions, model tours, and paperwork processing.

You will maintain resident files, stay informed on market rents, and assist in retention programs. Travel and occasional weekend hours may be required; strong customer service is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lease apartments at the highest effective rent level possible, while maintaining a strong customer service/satisfaction philosophy.
• Maintain a courteous and helpful attitude at all times.
• Respond to resident requests promptly and courteously and help resolve resident issues.
• Explain company policies to residents and potential residents clearly.
• Complete lease documents accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate resident files and enter data per policy.
• Assist in developing a resident retention/renewal program to improve conversions.
• Show model and available vacancies to prospective residents.
• Greet new residents and assist with move-ins; coordinate events as needed.
• Travel may be required; weekends may be required.
