Job Description Summary

River Terrace Apartments, in the heart of Eugene, embodies the conveniences and luxuries of apartment living. This picturesque, 280 unit garden-style community overlooks Eugene’s Delta ponds and is only moments away from the Willamette River walking trails. The desirable amenity package offers variety, relaxation, and invigoration all within the 17-acre community.

The ideal candidate has prior customer service experience with an emphasis on sales.

Schedule: Tuesday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, and Saturday, 10:00 AM–5:00 PM

What your day might look like

• Being part of a team and having fun while providing excellent customer service
• Conducting prospect building and apartment tours, including virtual leasing and in-person tours, and closing leases
• Ensuring a stellar move-in experience for our customers
• Researching comps for marketing and advertising purposes
• Planning and executing community events
• Following up with prospects by phone and email to convert leads into leases
• Using social media and internet platforms to market available units
• Driving lease renewals
• Responding to resident concerns

What we are looking for

• Prior sales experience is strongly preferred, especially in upselling environments such as retail (shoes, phones, cars), insurance, or restaurants
• A demonstrated ability to build rapport and engage with people. We can teach the systems, but not the people skills!
• Administrative experience (office work, call centers, data entry) is welcome, though sales experience is preferred
• Non-traditional backgrounds are encouraged to apply if you’ve shown outreach and relationship-building skills through sports teams, campus organizations, or volunteer work
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite; experience with property management software (Yardi/OneSite) desired but not required
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, and communicate effectively, complete legal documents, sell and explain apartment features, and answer resident questions
• A high level of professionalism in both manner and dress

The hourly range for this role is $19.00 - $22.00

Additional Compensation

Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including business requirements, prior experience, current skills and geographical location.

• Corporate Positions:Inaddition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participateina quarterly or annual bonus program based onindividual and company performance.
• Onsite Property Positions:Inaddition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participatein weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
