Job summary

The Phoenix Staffing is seeking an experienced Leasing Professional for a lease-up multifamily community in Mesa, AZ. The role focuses on welcoming residents, tours, and day-to-day leasing operations.

Candidates should have prior apartment leasing or multifamily property management experience, strong customer service and sales skills, and familiarity with property management software such as Yardi, RealPage, Entrata, or AppFolio. Weekend availability preferred.

• Experience on a lease-up community is required.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospective residents and provide exceptional customer service.
• Conduct property and apartment tours and highlight community features and amenities.
• Respond to leasing inquiries by phone, email, text, and online lead platforms.
• Follow up with prospects and help convert leads into applications and leases.
• Assist with rental applications, lease paperwork, renewals, and move-in documentation.
• Maintain accurate prospect and resident information in property management systems.
• Communicate professionally with residents regarding community questions and service needs.
• Enter and follow up on resident work orders and coordinate with maintenance teams.
• Assist with resident retention efforts and community events.
• Help maintain an organized, professional, and welcoming leasing office.

What You’ll Do

As a Leasing Professional, you’ll help create a welcoming experience for prospective and current residents while supporting the day-to-day leasing operations of an apartment community.

Depending on the property and assignment, responsibilities may include:

• Greet prospective residents and provide exceptional customer service
• Conduct property and apartment tours and highlight community features and amenities
• Respond to leasing inquiries by phone, email, text, and online lead platforms
• Follow up with prospects and help convert leads into applications and leases
• Assist with rental applications, lease paperwork, renewals, and move-in documentation
• Maintain accurate prospect and resident information in property management systems
• Communicate professionally with residents regarding community questions and service needs
• Enter and follow up on resident work orders and coordinate with maintenance teams
• Assist with resident retention efforts and community events
• Help maintain an organized, professional, and welcoming leasing office
• Support additional leasing and administrative duties as needed by the community

What We’re Looking For

• Previous apartment leasing or multifamily property management experience is REQUIRED
• Previous experience on a lease-up community is REQUIRED
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Strong customer service and sales skills
• Professional verbal and written communication
• Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable engaging with prospective residents
• Organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced leasing office
• Working knowledge of Fair Housing guidelines and apartment leasing practices
• Comfortable using and learning property management software
• Experience withYardi, RealPage, Entrata, AppFolio, or similar property management systemsis a plus
• Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply
• Weekend availability and scheduling flexibility are highly preferred
• Reliable transportation to assigned apartment communities
• Valid driver’s license may be required for certain assignments
