Job summary

Southern Land Company in Las Vegas, NV seeks a full-time Leasing Professional for our Gemma project. The role pays up to $23/hour plus commissions and requires weekend availability.

You will greet prospects, present apartments, and enter data into CRM and PMS to drive leasing and resident satisfaction. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, prior leasing or sales experience, strong communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; YARDI experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Prior leasing, sales, or customer service experience is preferred.
• Fair Housing Training is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Greet future residents, determine needs and preferences, and present property and apartments with features and benefits.
• Maintain reporting: outreach marketing, traffic reports, daily checklists, CRM and PMS data entry.
• Assist in resident retention events and programs; participate in at least one event per month after hours.
• Enter all information into CRM, including calls, visits, applications, residents, and activities.
• Process lease applications, collect proof of income, obtain approvals, and notify results within 24–72 hours.
• Schedule pre-signings, moves, and related activities; handle resident communications as needed.
• Assist with monthly advertising reviews and binder maintenance.

Position Summary

Southern Land Company, a national real estate development and construction firm, is seeking a full-time Leasing Professional to join our dynamic team in Las Vegas, NV. The pay rate for this position is up to $23/hour + commissions. Must be able to work weekends.
Located at 1201 S 3rd Street, Las Vegas NV this mid-rise, 337-unit multifamily project is designed to emphasize an artful, modern living experience. Gemma will include three seven-story apartment buildings totaling 531,982 square feet with 8,600 square feet of ground-level retail and restaurant space. Studio, one- and two-bedroom residences ranging in size from 585 to 1,254 square feet will be available. Amenities include a two-story fitness center, pool and spa, co-working space, library, rooftop amenity deck and outdoor lounge with fireplace. Additional communal amenities and services will include a concierge, multiple courtyards, dog park, resident lounge, outdoor grills and bars, virtual reality room and a shared 353-space concrete garage with EV charging stations.

Primary Responsibilities

• Greet future residents, determine needs and preferences, and professionally present property and specific apartments while providing features and benefits.
• Complete all reporting requirements to include but not limited to outreach marketing, traffic reports, daily checklists and maintaining Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) and the Property Management System (PMS).
• Assist in resident retention program, resident appreciation days and special functions as requested. Functions will require your participation at least one event per month after hours.
• Enter all information into CRM, including prospect phone calls, visits, applicants, residents, resident communication, demographics, wants and needs, apartments shown and all activity that applies to the community.
• Correctly process all lease applications, collect proof of income, gain management approval, and notify prospective residents of results within 24-72 hours. Schedule pre-signing of lease within 72 hours after approval notification. Schedule move in appointments and freight elevator. Type miscellaneous resident communication as needed.
• Assist with monthly advertising review updates and advertising binder maintenance.
• Conduct all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and all other laws pertaining to apartment communities.

Skills/Knowledge/Experience

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to keep sensitive information highly confidential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong and pleasant telephone and interpersonal skills, and the ability to deal professionally with clients, vendors, and co-workers on the phone and in person.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, ability to take initiative, use good judgment, demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail, and carry multiple projects through to completion.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize work and ask for further clarification when necessary.
• Ability to work under pressure with tight time constraints, as well as the ability to deal with frequent interruptions, unresolved situations, frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
