Job summary

The Dermot Company, a New York and Florida based real estate developer and operator, is seeking a full-time Leasing & Management Associate to manage day-to-day property management and leasing across West Palm Beach and Wellington, FL.

This onsite role supports resident relations, renewals and reporting while focusing on Class A multifamily properties and delivering exceptional resident experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of property management experience in a multifamily building environment.
• Experience with NY laws/regulations for multifamily/mixed-use buildings preferred.
• Real estate license or willingness to obtain within time allotted.
• Exceptional presentation, interpersonal, communication and follow-through skills.
• Proficient in property management technologies and MS Office/Google Suite.
• Leasing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be the first responder for resident and prospect calls and inquiries.
• Meet residents' needs in a timely, courteous manner while upholding standards and policies.
• Support the management team with resident relations, move in/out, amenity upkeep and office matters.
• Support leasing team with renewals, tours, applications and social media efforts.
• Assist with weekly and monthly reporting and complete additional projects as assigned.

Job description

The Dermot Company, a New York and Florida based real estate developer and operator, is seeking a full-time Leasing & Management Associate who will be directly responsible for managing the day-to-day property management and leasing functions across properties in West Palm Beach and Wellington FL.

In this role, you will contribute to the continued growth and operational excellence of our luxury residential portfolio. This position plays an important part in advancing Dermot’s commitment to delivering exceptional resident experiences, supporting property performance, and upholding our standards of integrity, collaboration, and innovation.

This is a full time, in-person position, based in West Palm Beach FL, floating between properties to provide leasing support.

About the role

• This is an onsite position, floating between properties in West Palm Beach, providing leasing support.
• Office hours are 9-6pm, exact 5-day work week schedule TBD.
• This position requires regular interaction with others in person and other forms of communication tools.
• The incumbent will sit, stand or walk around for long periods of time depending on the task and will use standard office equipment (e.g., computer, phone, software programs) as needed.
• The right candidate needs multifamily leasing experience, preferably with Class A properties only.

What you'll do

• Be the first responder for resident and prospect calls and inquiries.

About You and What You Offer

• Minimum of two (2) years of property management experience in a multifamily building environment.

• Some experience dealing with required laws and regulations regarding property management and multifamily and mix-use buildings in NY.

• Real estate license or willingness to obtain the real estate license within the time allotted.

• Exceptional presentation, interpersonal, communication and follow-through skills.

• Eagerness to roll up your sleeves to get the job done and learn to grow with the organization.

• Proficient in various property management technologies, MSOffice and Google Suite.

• Leasing experience is a plus.

• Stellar references.

• Authorized to work in the United States without any restrictions.
