Job summary

Weidner Apartment Homes is seeking a Leasing Manager to lead leasing operations at our community. You will drive occupancy targets, manage tours and applications, and collaborate with the Community Director to optimize leasing strategies and resident retention.

You will coach a leasing team, ensure rent-ready properties, and maintain Weidner’s service standards. A strong focus on customer experience, communication, and performance metrics will be essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of leasing experience with outstanding customer service skills.
• Prior management experience preferred.
• Experience with property management software is helpful (Yardi, Paycom).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage selection of marketing tour path and target viewing apartments.
• Ensure rent-ready apartments, model homes and amenities are impeccable.
• Manage traffic and input daily; answer calls and convert them to walk-ins.
• Guide applicants through the application process after tours.
• Meet with Community Director to review leasing performance and goals.
• Assist with monthly financial performance reports and budget during occupancy.
• Supervise leasing team in the absence of leadership.
• Coordinate daily activities of the leasing team and maintain brand standards.

This role is responsible for developing and executing property specific occupancy and renewal goals to achieve financial success. This position must promote and encourage collaboration and teamwork, as the leasing team will look to you for support, coaching and guidance through daily and weekly objectives. A successful Leasing Manager is able to manage their time effectively, is detail oriented, a trustworthy team player, and takes pride in their work.
