Job Title:

Leasing Credit Senior Officer / Leasing Credit Officer II

Role Overview:

Responsible for delivering integrated credit solutions to US State and Local governmental entities, including public higher education. Collaborate closely with client-facing teammates to consult on sales opportunities, underwriting, negotiating transactions, and providing product expertise to deliver optimal client solutions. Manage credit quality and the approval process in partnership with Risk Management Officers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pre-screen new transactions for creditworthiness and suitable credit solutions.
• Analyze financial statements of US State and Local governmental entities.
• Underwrite credit approval memoranda, including thorough analysis and due diligence.
• Participate in documentation negotiations as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience for Leasing Credit Officer II, 10+ years for Leasing Credit Senior Officer, in commercial banking, finance, or credit rating industries.
• Experience in structuring complex transactions and risk analysis.
• Strong skills in credit analysis, financial statement analysis, and negotiation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Municipal Lending Experience.
• Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
