The Leasing Coordinator supports daily leasing office operations, acts as the first point of contact for visitors, and assists the leasing team in successfully leasing available units to qualified renters efficiently. Reporting to the VP of Residential Leasing or Leasing Manager, the role involves implementing leasing strategies, managing pricing and traffic reports, preparing rental contracts, and supporting client outreach efforts.
Ideal candidates hold a High School Diploma, with 1-2 years relevant experience in real estate brokerage, development, or management. A NY Salesperson License and OSHA certification are recommended. Candidates should possess excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical, organizational, and time-management skills, with high attention to detail and ethics. Ability to work independently and in a team environment is essential. Proficiency in MS Office is required; experience with Yardi/Rent Cafe is preferred.
