Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in multifamily property management.
• Experience with tax-credit (affordable housing) properties required.
• Working knowledge of RealPage/Onesite preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Handle various leasing activities, including contacting prospective residents, scheduling and conducting property tours, and leasing available apartments.
• Collect rent deposits, rent payments, and other fees; ensure accurate booking.
• Ensure model units and available apartments are clean, well-presented, and ready for tours.
• Maintain a clean, organized office and assist with curb appeal efforts.
• Understand and explain lease terms, property policies, and qualification criteria to prospective residents.
• Use sales strategies to convert prospects into residents over the phone and in person.
• Build and maintain relationships with locator services and local businesses for marketing outreach.
• Shop competing properties to stay competitive and informed of local market conditions.
• Screen applications and follow leasing processes according to company policy.
• Participate in outreach marketing efforts to generate leads.
• Engage with current residents and assist in the lease renewal process.
