Leasing Consultant

Are you an enthusiastic person with a positive, team-oriented attitude? Do you enjoy interacting and working with others to solve problems? Burlington Capital Properties is looking for you! We are currently accepting applications for a full-time Leasing Consultant position for our three sister communities in Trotwood, OH.

This full-time position requires availability Monday – Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturdays 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with one weekday off. If you are interested in a fast-paced industry with opportunities for performance bonuses and professional development, apply today!

The successful leasing consultant will:

  • Perform activities related to apartment rental and renewal: Providing apartment tours; Outreach marketing; Qualifying prospective residents; Preparing paperwork; Completing move-in procedures; Meeting with current residents regarding lease renewal and rates
  • Maintain excellent resident relations: Provide superior customer service; Work with residents to provide solutions; Participate in resident promotions or functions
  • Represent the property community in a positive manner and convey the benefits of the community to prospective residents
  • Proactively participate in the team effort to accomplish desired results; Participate in staff meetings as required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Minimum of two years sales/leasing experience or equivalent preferred
  • Low-Income Tax credit Housing experience a plus
  • Previous tax credit experience preferred
  • Ability to follow directives and work with minimum supervision
  • Ability to use computer and basic office equipment to perform job duties
  • Excellent customer service and follow-up skills a must
  • Ability to interact positively with residents, employees, vendors and the general public
  • Follow directions and work independently
  • Basic computer skills and proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Must have basic understanding of the English language, and be able to communicate effectively and professionally
  • A reliable vehicle and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record may be required for this position (to perform marketing duties)
