Job Summary:

Show and lease apartments to prospective residents and support the community's marketing plan.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist applicants in completing rental applications and collect security deposits.
  • Ensure model and target apartments are ready for showings; maintain cleanliness and curb appeal.
  • Understand lease terms, community policies, and marketing techniques.
  • Maintain contact with apartment locator services and local businesses; update marketing materials.
  • Develop knowledge of application processes, screening policies, and resident retention programs.
  • Maintain accurate resident and community files and market surveys.
  • Process administrative forms and reports promptly.
  • Handle resident requests and complaints courteously and professionally.
  • Present a professional appearance and behavior at all times.
  • Pursue educational opportunities for personal growth.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

This role has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED, or 1-3 months related experience.
  • Ability to read, interpret documents, and communicate effectively.
  • Mathematical skills for calculating figures and percentages.
  • Fair Housing certification within 1 day; additional courses within 7 days.
  • Preferred certifications: CAM or RAM; Fair Housing certification within 14 days.
Physical Demands:

Regular use of hands, talking, standing, walking, sitting, reaching, and occasional lifting up to 10 pounds. Vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.

Work Environment:

Frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions; moderate noise level.
