Position Overview

The Leasing Consultant will show and lease apartments to prospective residents, assist with renewal leases for existing residents, and provide courteous and efficient customer service to prospects and residents.

Job Duties

• Meet and qualify prospective residents and obtain guest card information.
• Obtain traffic source information and enter it correctly into the system.
• Show available models and units to prospective residents.
• Take rental applications, accept deposits, and process approval procedures.
• Respond to inquiries via phone and internet, and follow up as necessary.
• Assist in lease renewal processes as directed by management.
• Maintain models and show apartments, ensuring the rental office remains organized.
• Inspect apartments and the community regularly.

Requirements for Leasing Consultant

• Full-time position with weekend hours.
• Previous apartment industry experience preferred.
• Organized, detail-oriented, with strong marketing and sales skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Computer skills required; knowledge of Yardi software is a plus.
• Valid Driver's License required.
