Job description

The Leasing Consultant is the primary property sales representative and resident customer service liaison. Additional responsibilities include:

1. Greet customers, offer refreshments, sell property benefits, request deposits, and perform all leasing functions.
2. Answer phone calls promptly, as the first line of contact, ideally by the second ring.
3. Respond professionally to inquiries from customers, residents, and vendors.
4. Complete welcome cards, record all traffic, and follow up with customers.
5. Qualify customers according to property guidelines while adhering to Fair Housing and OSHA laws.
6. Collect all required lease paperwork, fees, and deposits.
7. Maintain a professional, friendly office atmosphere.
8. Perform daily inspections of models, vacant units, and office appearance to ensure readiness.
9. Stay informed of local market trends and update the Market Survey monthly.
10. Maintain accurate resident and leasing records.
11. Complete leasing and marketing reports daily, weekly, and monthly as required.
12. Accept and route service requests to maintenance; follow up with residents.
13. Inspect the property, pick up litter, and report service needs to management or maintenance.
14. Comply with all local/state laws and company policies and procedures.
15. Assist other employees with apartment management functions as needed.
16. Use the golf cart safely and legally.
17. Understand the budget.
18. Follow up on service requests.
19. Participate in continued training as assigned.
20. Perform other duties as assigned.

Salary: $22-$23/hr + bonuses + housing discount
