Responsibilities for the Potential Leasing Consultant
- Welcomes and engages prospects, residents, and guests in person and by phone.
- Prepares and schedules property viewings, conducts tours, and interviews prospective residents.
- Addresses and resolves residents' questions, concerns, and complaints promptly.
- Processes applications, reviews screening results, renews leases, and creates rental agreements.
- Inspects property conditions and coordinates with maintenance and housekeeping as needed.
- Maintains organized resident files and reports issues to the Community Manager.
- Maintains professionalism with residents, vendors, contractors, and staff.
- Ensures compliance with all work-related activities in an ethical and consistent manner.
- Promotes resident activities and completes other duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate Background
- High energy and positive attitude to contribute to a team environment.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with experience in leasing, hospitality, retail, etc.
- Willingness to work harmoniously with staff, vendors, and residents.
- High school diploma or GED required; degree preferred.
- Fluent in reading and writing English; basic math skills required.
- Strong communication skills and professional image.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Bilingual preferred but not required.
- Organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Customer service orientation with assertiveness.
- Ability to engage professionally and 'seal the deal.'
- Proficiency in MS Office, with experience in Yardi, Resman, or similar software preferred.
- Valid driver’s license, current insurance, and reliable transportation required.
