Job Description
The Leasing Consultant is the community's sales representative responsible for interacting with residents (potential and existing) on behalf of FPI. Duties include assisting with property viewings, providing accurate apartment information, processing rental applications, securing lease agreements from qualified individuals, and assisting with lease renewals. All duties must be conducted in accordance with Fair Housing Laws and Company policies, supporting the overall goal of meeting the Client's expectations based on the financial operating budget and management agreement.
Pay: $18 - $20 / Hour
Duties and Responsibilities
Carry out the philosophies and wishes of the Owner in the daily operations of the apartment community to meet Client objectives and expectations.
Maintain positive, professional, and effective communication with applicants, residents, vendors, clients, and guests while representing FPI.
Maintain occupancy levels, exhibit professional leasing techniques, assist with market surveys and analysis, update online marketing sources, promote resident retention, and ensure safety, comfort, and privacy of residents.
Maintain resident files, ensure document integrity and confidentiality, and assist with reporting as needed.
Ensure compliance with Risk Management procedures, report injuries or damages, and react professionally in emergencies.
Assist residents with maintenance reporting, monitor facility conditions, and follow up on requests.
Enforce community rules, comply with all laws and policies, maintain a professional appearance, complete training requirements, and perform any additional duties assigned by the supervisor.
