Job summary

Allied Residential is seeking a Leasing Consultant to engage prospective residents, conduct property tours, and guide applicants through the leasing process. You will help ensure an exceptional resident experience by understanding needs and presenting community amenities.

The role supports occupancy goals through proactive marketing and accurate lease administration on-site in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; leasing or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and rapport-building skills.
• Proficiency with Office 365 and Yardi or similar property management software.
• Basic math for calculating rates, ratios, and percentages.
• Ability to work on-site, walk/inspect units, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospective residents, assess housing needs, and qualify applicants based on criteria.
• Conduct property tours highlighting features, layouts, and amenities.
• Provide information about schools, shopping, recreation, and transportation.
• Prepare and process lease agreements, collect deposits, and ensure documentation is complete.
• Monitor property conditions and coordinate needed repairs.
• Maintain listings of available units and create engaging advertisements.
• Participate in team meetings and training for development.

Position Summary

The Leasing Consultant is responsible for engaging prospective residents, showcasing available apartments, and guiding applicants through the leasing process. This role ensures an exceptional customer experience by identifying resident needs, presenting community amenities, and facilitating smooth move-in transitions. The Leasing Consultant also supports ongoing occupancy goals through proactive marketing and property presentation.

• Key Responsibilities
• Greet prospective residents, assess housing needs, and qualify applicants based on established criteria.
• Conduct property tours, highlighting apartment features, layouts, and community amenities.
• Provide accurate information about the local area, including schools, shopping, recreation, and transportation.
• Prepare and process lease agreements, collect deposits, and ensure all documentation is complete.
• Monitor property conditions, reporting maintenance needs and coordinating necessary repairs.
• Maintain updated listings of available units and create engaging advertisements to promote vacancies.
• Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to support personal and professional development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; prior leasing or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Office 365) and property management software such as Yardi.
• Basic math skills, including the ability to calculate rates, ratios, and percentages.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work on-site, including walking varied terrain, climbing stairs, and inspecting units in all weather conditions.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive salary based on experience plus potential bonuses
• 152 hours (19 days) PTO annually, plus carry-over up to 120 hours and longevity PTO at 6 and 10 years
