Job summary

You will apply consultative selling techniques, coordinate applications and leases, and collaborate with maintenance and management to keep the property inviting and compliant with Fair Housing standards. This role may require travel to local sites.

• Assist future residents with finding a perfect apartment to call home
• Provide a positive and genuine experience to all current and future residents
• Use strategic consultative selling skills to achieve 100% community occupancy
• Provide support for application and lease management
• Demonstrate past successes with interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Use high‑level communication skills when dealing with current and future residents
• Prioritize tour path and ensure curb appeal is up to par on property; communicate any feedback to maintenance team and community manager
• Ensure leases are complete and correct
• Be an expert in using marketing techniques and social media to promote the community and its events
• Possess strong ability to mediate and assess current and future resident feedback
• Assist with resident retention activities
• Schedule and follow up with progress of maintenance work orders and future move‑ins
• Ability to travel or float to cover local sites

Requirements

• Minimum of 1–2 years on‑site as a Leasing Consultant preferred
• Ability to work weekends and evenings as needed
• RealPage / OneSite experience required
• Knock experience preferred
• Proven background in customer service with a focus on marketing and outreach to clients
• Competence in Microsoft Suite and property management software strongly preferred
• Participation in training to comply with new or existing Fair Housing laws
• Present self in a neat, clean, and professional manner at all times
• Proven ability to cover multi‑site locations through flexibility
• Comply with expectations as demonstrated in the employee handbook
