Job Responsibilities

Reporting to the Community Manager, Leasing Manager, or Assistant Manager, the Leasing Consultant is responsible for generating leads, selling, and renewing apartment leases while adhering to Company and Fair Housing guidelines. The role requires delivering excellent customer service and representing the company professionally.

• Communicate daily with staff and management, including handling service requests.
• Assist at other communities as needed.
• Travel for training and company business as required.
• Participate in required training programs.
• Manage marketing, administrative, and financial operations under supervision.
• Understand community details, specials, and floor plans.
• Maintain knowledge of leasing procedures and documents.
• Prepare leases and renewals, and process applications.
• Qualify prospective residents and maintain leasing files.
• Utilize market data to identify potential residents.
• Inspect units and coordinate move-ins and move-outs.
• Develop new business contacts and marketing strategies.
• Handle online marketing and ensure pricing accuracy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous leasing experience preferred.
• Strong sales and closing skills.
• Excellent organizational and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Yardi Voyager, Revenue Management Programs, MS Office is preferred.
• Valid driver's license may be required.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, competitive environment and with diverse groups.

Work Schedule

Generally, 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm, Monday-Friday, with rotating weekends. Hours may vary based on business needs.
