We are currently seeking an ambitious leasing consultant motivated by an hourly wage plus bonus. The Leasing Consultant acts as the property’s sales representative, primarily responsible for greeting prospects, presenting community features and benefits during tours, and securing lease agreements from qualified applicants. The ideal candidate is service-oriented, possesses exceptional communication skills, and aims to make residents feel welcome and comfortable.

Core Responsibilities:
  1. Manage every aspect of the leasing process with prospective tenants.
  2. Provide outstanding customer service to future tenants and current residents.
  3. Conduct tours, guide clients through the application process, and close sales.
  4. Ensure high occupancy by closing sales and promoting additional products or services for customer satisfaction and revenue.
  5. Maintain accurate records of prospective and current clients.
  6. Respond promptly and professionally to phone, email, and in-person inquiries.
  7. Handle resident concerns with a positive attitude to ensure satisfaction.
  8. Assist Property Manager and support teams with ongoing maintenance coordination.
  9. Maintain community appearance through regular inspections and tours.
  10. Support Property Manager in training on-site staff to meet operational goals.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong sales and leasing experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain a friendly, energetic demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic to intermediate math skills; no additional assistance needed.
  • National Apartment Leasing Professional (NALP) certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and typing at least 30 words per minute; Yardi experience is a plus.
  • Fair Housing certification prior to interacting with prospects or residents.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends if required.
  • Compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including Fair Housing, ADA, and FCRA.

Hourly pay range: $16-$18/hour.
