Job Details

Title: Leasing Consultant

Employment Type: Full-Time

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Schedule: Friday - Tuesday, 9:00am - 6:00pm

Location: Witham Hill Oaks Apartments, 420 NW Clubhouse Pl, Corvallis, OR 97330

Reports to: Property Manager

Compensation & Benefits
  • Hourly pay of $18.00
  • Leasing and renewal commissions

Administrative Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing and landlord/tenant laws
  • Attend training seminars
Operational & Financial Duties
  • Advertise and promote the property
  • Use industry-specific software for lead management
  • Conduct property tours
  • Manage full lease cycle
  • Ensure renter’s insurance compliance
  • Maintain 95% resident occupancy
  • Collect rent and ancillary revenues timely
  • Other duties as assigned
Resident Experience
  • Engage professionally with tenants
  • Escalate issues to Property Manager
  • Organize resident events
Candidate Requirements
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of customer service and sales experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Teamwork, integrity, communication skills, multi-tasking, conflict resolution, and professional development ambition
Work Environment
  • 80% office work using computer and phone
  • 20% property inspections, including climbing stairs/ladders and maneuvering walkways
  • Ability to lift/move objects up to 20 pounds
