We are seeking an ambitious leasing consultant motivated by an hourly wage plus bonus. The Leasing Consultant acts as the property’s sales representative, greeting prospects, presenting community features, touring apartment homes, and securing lease agreements from qualified individuals. The ideal candidate is service-oriented with excellent communication skills, dedicated to making residents feel welcome and comfortable.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the leasing process with prospective tenants.
• Provide exceptional customer service to future tenants and current residents.
• Guide clients during tours, through the application process, and close sales.
• Close unit sales to maximize occupancy and offer additional products/services to enhance customer satisfaction and revenue.
• Keep accurate records of prospective and current clients.
• Respond promptly and professionally to phone, email, and in-person inquiries.
• Handle resident concerns with a positive attitude to ensure satisfaction.
• Assist in coordinating property maintenance and community inspections.
• Support Property Manager in training on-site staff to meet operational goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Strong sales and leasing experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain high energy and a friendly demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic to intermediate math skills.
• National Apartment Leasing Professional (NALP) certification preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, typing at least 30 WPM, Yardi experience a plus.
• Fair Housing certification prior to interacting with prospects or residents.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends if necessary.
• Adherence to company policies, Fair Housing, ADA, FCRA, and all relevant laws.

Additional Details

Hourly pay range: $16-$18.
