Job summary

Bell Partners is seeking a Leasing Consultant to warmly welcome residents and prospects, coordinate tours, and respond to inquiries about leasing. You will interact with residents, coordinate renewals, and serve as a communication hub between residents, management, and maintenance teams.

You will conduct tours, lease apartments, follow Fair Housing standards, and support marketing activities to position Bell communities as top choices.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ customer service experience; hospitality or apartment leasing role
• Must demonstrate support of BAL strategic drivers;
• Must demonstrate ability to provide exceptional customer service;
• Must be able to work on a team or in a team environment;
• Must present a professional image;
• Must be resourceful and well-organized.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the welcoming first point of contact for residents, prospects, and visitors to the community
• Effectively lease apartments and sell property’s products and services in accordance with budget
• Ensure Fair Housing Standards in all matters when working with prospects and residents
• Follow up on leasing traffic entries and monitor traffic trends
• Maintain thorough product knowledge of property and that of major competition
• Assist with marketing activities to position Bell communities as communities of choice
• Coordinate the resident application review in accordance with Bell guidelines
• Complete lease packets and files for each resident to include the lease, all addendums and other forms
• Regular attendance and punctuality
• Proper documentation
• Follow up with residents throughout the lease
• Receive any resident inquiries, complaints, or issues and provide timely follow up

The Leasing Consultant is responsible for welcoming prospective residents to the community, coordinating tours, and responding to incoming inquiries about leasing. The position will also interact with current residents regarding day-to-dayissuesas well as coordinatingtherenewalsofexistingleases. The Leasing Consultant will serve as a central point of communication between the Community residents, Community management, as well as community maintenance teams.

Physical requirements of the job:

• Walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and lifting to 30 lbs.
• Ability to work with mechanical and electrical equipment, as well as hazardous materials
