Job Description

Job Title – Leasing Consultant

Scope & Purpose

Under the daily direction of the Assistant Property Manager (if applicable) or Property Manager, the Leasing Consultant is responsible for leasing, marketing, and maintaining positive resident relations of multi-family residential apartments. (S)he may be asked to perform other duties as assigned, as per their Manager and/or Regional Director.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Leasing: Greet prospects, qualify them, record visits, maintain guest cards, inspect models, demonstrate community features, close sales, process applications, ensure apartment readiness, follow up with prospects, secure signatures, orient new residents, monitor renewals, analyze advertising effectiveness, represent the company professionally, and perform other duties as assigned.
• Administrative: Accept rental payments, maintain resident files, record inspections, distribute notices, keep commission records, assist management, and implement community policies.
• Resident Retention: Address resident requests and concerns, coordinate maintenance, communicate with residents and staff, contribute to community cleanliness, and assist in planning resident events.
• Neighborhood Marketing: Participate in outreach activities, advise on referral concessions, manage signage, distribute marketing materials, and conduct market surveys.
• Safety Responsibilities: Comply with safety rules, correct unsafe conditions promptly.
