Position Summary

Performs administrative tasks aimed at maximizing occupancy with quality residents and performs other duties as assigned by the Community Manager. Attendance is essential as it impacts workflow and communication within the team.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Abides by Fair Housing Laws.
• Provides tours of apartments to prospective residents.
• Runs credit reports on prospective residents.
• Prepares lease packets.
• Inspects apartments prior to showing.
• Maintains logs of traffic through the property.
• Leases units.
• Provides information over the phone to prospects.
• Maintains a positive public relations attitude toward current and prospective residents.

Additional Functions

• Typing and filing property reports.
• Assist with rent collection, bank deposits, or errands.
• Participate in resident retention activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Some real estate training, familiarity with Landlord-Tenant and Fair Housing laws, and leasing experience preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License (if operating a vehicle).

Physical Activities

• Typing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing stairs, sitting.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs.

• Work hours align with community operation hours, including weekends as needed.
