Franklin Group is seeking a Leasing Consultant to show and lease apartments and support the community's marketing plan. You will assist applicants with rental applications, collect deposits, and maintain ready-to-show model and target apartments.
Knowledge of lease terms, sales techniques, Fair Housing standards, and strong customer service is required. You will interact with locator services and vendors, and contribute to resident retention under supervision.

Shows and leases apartments to prospective residents and supports community's marketing plan.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or team members of organization.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages.
Fair Housing must be completed within 1 day of hire. Preventing Sexual Harassment, Workplace Harassment and Drug Free Workplace courses must be completed within 7 days of hire.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
The Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Resident Apartment Manager (RAM) designations are highly recommended for this position. Fair Housing Certification is required within 14 days of hire.
