Independence Realty Trust Inc. is seeking an Apartment Leasing Consultant to be the face of our Waterford Place at Riata Ranch community. You’ll engage prospects, tour the property, and convert interest into signed leases, while delivering exceptional customer service.

The position emphasizes relationship-building, sales-driven results, and the ability to navigate a fast-paced environment with ongoing training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven sales or customer service experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Positive attitude, charisma, and a passion for helping people.
• Must attend a company-paid, multi-day out-of-state training within 2 weeks of start date.

Responsibilities

• Welcome prospective residents, understand their needs, and match them with available homes.
• Conduct community tours highlighting the lifestyle and amenities.
• Follow up with prospects to close leases and meet occupancy goals.
• Manage the lease application process for new residents.
• Serve as a resource on features, rents, and community details.
• Assist marketing efforts with market research and outreach plans.
• Coordinate resident events to build community and satisfaction.

Your Day-to-Day

• Welcome prospective residents, understand their needs, and expertly match them with our community’s amenities.
• Conduct community tours that highlight the unique lifestyle IRT offers.
• Follow up with prospects to close sales and achieve leasing goals.
• Manage the lease application process, ensuring a smooth transition for new residents.
• Serve as a knowledgeable resource on community features, rents, and amenities.
• Conduct market research and contribute to marketing plans to attract new residents.
• Coordinate resident events that build community and enhance resident satisfaction.
