Job summary

Founders Property Management is seeking a Leasing Consultant to deliver exceptional customer service and assist housing needs at The Place at Wilmot North in Tucson, AZ. You will meet with prospective tenants, show models, explain layouts, and process lease paperwork while maintaining accurate records and ensuring a positive resident experience.

The role requires strong communication and a background in retail or customer service, with weekend availability and a professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• Prior retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Weekend availability is required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills needed.

Responsibilities

• Meet with prospective tenants and record information to ascertain needs and qualifications.
• Assist prospects in viewing model apartments and discuss size/layout, facilities, and lease terms.
• Complete lease forms and maintain resident files securely.
• Track lease approval progress by contacting references and keeping future residents informed.
• Answer calls and handle inquiries; compile listings of available units and reflect current market pricing.
• Represent the company professionally and handle resident concerns promptly.
• Distribute community notices and monitor units to communicate inventory to prospects.

This role is for a Leasing Consultant.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Meets with prospective tenants and records information to ascertain needs and qualifications.
• Assists prospects in viewing model apartments and discusses size and layout of rooms, available facilities such as swimming pool and saunas, location of shopping centers, services available, and terms of lease.
• Completes lease forms or agreements, ensuring that resident files are accurate and maintained in a secure place. Collects rental deposit(s) and provides copies for the file.
• Keeps track of approval progress for each lease file by contacting previous landlords, employers, etc., and staying in touch with the future resident about what is needed before move-in.
• Answers incoming phone calls and handles each call accordingly.
• Compiles listings of available units for rent using company marketing materials and reflects current market pricing.
• Represents the company in a professional manner at all times.
• Handles resident concerns and requests in a timely manner to ensure satisfaction with management.
• Assists in distributing community notices (e.g., weather, emergencies).
• Regularly walks the grounds and available units to communicate inventory to prospects.
• Upholds community policies.
• All other duties as assigned.
• Desire to be part of a Top 100 Companies to work for in Arizona and be motivated by customer interaction to assist with housing needs.
• Strong communication, influencing, and time management skills.
• Enjoys being part of a team.
• Has prior retail and/or customer service experience (preferred).
• Availability and flexibility to work weekends.
