Job summary

Weidner Apartment Homes is seeking a Leasing Consultant to engage prospective residents through energetic tours, coordinate marketing and renewal efforts, and manage the application process from inquiry to approval. You will respond quickly to calls and emails, maintain occupancy goals, and coordinate with on-site teams to keep apartments and common areas in top condition.

The role requires strong customer service, ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and familiarity with property

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with motivation to learn and contribute daily.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products preferred.
• Experience with Yardi and Paycom preferred; willing to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Walk marketing tour path and open target viewing apartments.
• Respond to resident and prospective resident calls and emails promptly.
• Facilitate the application process and review applications immediately.
• Maintain traffic and communicate with applicants after results.
• Shop competitive properties monthly and adhere to marketing strategies.
• Ensure market-ready apartments, common areas, and amenities are clean.

This role is responsible for coordinating the communities marketing, leasing and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue retention goals. A successful Leasing Consultant is able to manage their time effectively, is detail oriented, a trustworthy team player, and takes pride in their work.
