Job description

Coves at Columbus is looking for a Leasing Agent to present and lease units to qualified candidates. As a Leasing Agent, you will be responsible for leasing apartments to prospective residents, following up with prospects, showing units, and assisting with applications and online registration.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base Salary: $17-$22 per hour
• Commission for new leases
• Bonus Pool paid quarterly
• Health Insurance
• PTO and Holidays

Schedule

Full Time; Monday-Friday 8am-5pm; possible Saturdays depending on business needs

About You

• 2+ years’ experience in a customer-contact or customer-service role preferred
• Past real estate leasing experience preferred
• Energetic and personable, enjoys communicating with prospective residents
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
• Yardi experience is a plus
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
• Must be able to walk up and down stairs and property for tours
• Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs and tasks requiring bending or reaching

• Coordinate with Property and Leasing Managers on availability and upkeep
