We are seeking a Leasing Agent for Bridgeport Apartments in Kansas City, MO. This role involves leasing apartments while providing excellent customer service, assisting the Residential Manager with administrative tasks, and performing leasing, operational, administrative, and bookkeeping duties. Courteous and helpful behavior towards residents and potential residents is essential.

Knowledge, Abilities, and Qualities
  • Logical thinking and ability to follow standardized procedures with flexibility for minor deviations.
  • Ability to think rationally beyond specific instructions.
  • Capable of working efficiently under pressure, managing multiple tasks, and meeting deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills with residents, visitors, and staff.
  • Legible handwriting and accurate typing skills.
  • Proficiency in handling lease documents, paperwork, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Ability to handle financial tasks such as bank deposits, calculating rent, prorates, discounts, and percentages.
  • Competence in operating office equipment and being computer literate or willing to learn.
  • Strong customer service skills and problem-solving abilities.
Experience, Training, and Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior leasing or sales experience is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, reliable transportation, and a reachable phone are required.
