Job summary

Meritus Property Group in Tacoma, WA, is seeking a Leasing Agent to attract and retain tenants for a portfolio of properties. You will conduct property tours, respond to inquiries, process applications, and handle leases to ensure high occupancy and tenant satisfaction.

The role requires frequent commuting between properties and strong leasing, sales, and customer service skills, with experience using CRM and Yardi Voyager. On-site work with a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Strong leasing and sales skills and background.
• Proficient in CRM and Yardi Voyager for property management tasks.
• Administrative skills for handling lease agreements, rental applications, and other documentation.
• Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with tenants and address inquiries or concerns.
• Knowledge of property maintenance procedures to coordinate repairs and ensure a well-maintained property.
• Ability to upsell additional services or amenities to enhance tenant experience.
• Customer relationship management skills to build positive relationships with tenants and address their needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants.
• Respond to inquiries from potential tenants and provide information about the property.
• Process rental applications, including conducting background and credit checks.
• Prepare lease agreements and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately.
• Collect rent payments and maintain tenant records in a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
• Coordinate move-in and move-out inspections with tenants.
• Address tenant concerns and maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Assist with property maintenance, including scheduling repairs and coordinating with vendors.
• Utilize phone etiquette to handle incoming calls and provide excellent customer service.
• Upsell additional services or amenities to current and prospective tenants.
• Maintain positive relationships with tenants to ensure high levels of tenant satisfaction.

The pay range for this role is:

22 - 23 USD per hour(Analog Tacoma)
