Job summary

Manhattan Skyline Management Corp. is seeking a Leasing Agent to manage day-to-day leasing and renewal processes for a Manhattan rental portfolio. You’ll work closely with the SVP of Leasing, Marketing and Sales to deliver exceptional resident service and drive lease conversions.

The role requires on-site availability, strong communication, and proven ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor’s Degree and NYS license are required.

Manhattan Skyline Management Corp. is seeking a Leasing Agent who will be directly responsible for managing the day-to-day leasing functions, and the renewal process for a rental property within our Manhattan portfolio.

As a Leasing Agent, you will work closely with the Senior Vice President of Leasing, Marketing and Sales to provide exceptional service to residents. Each day will be unique, requiring an ability to prioritize, multitask, think creatively, take initiative, and employ a diverse set of skills. You will listen carefully to discover prospective residents’ needs, confidently recommend solutions, overcome concerns, and earn commitment by guiding new residents through the leasing process. Our leasing team brings positive energy to each conversation, resolves any apartment issues quickly and makes everyone feel welcome.

****Salary Range 65K - 72K****

Responsibilities

• Must be flexible and available to work on-site at the properties to lease apartments.
• Assess property condition to facilitate timely transitions.
• Respond to all online and direct call inquiries.
• Schedule showings with prospective tenants and/or brokers.
• Schedule and hold open houses to increase traffic.
• Professionally tour prospective tenants through building apartments and amenities, with strong sales ability.
• Process incoming lease applications, including qualifying prospects and running credit verifications, as well as prepare financial snapshots for financial approval.
• Prepare leases and coordinate collections of security deposits and first-month rental payments for incoming tenants.
• Draft lease renewal agreements for tenants and owners' execution of documents.
• Report and track daily traffic; convert data analytics to convert lead generation to showings and leases.
• Shop market conditions, prepare comp reports to recommend pricing on available apartments.
• Ability to assist SVP and Director of Leasing with ad hoc projects and other responsibilities (new building assignments, assessing market comparable rents, producing or reviewing copy, etc.).
• Continuously communicate with the SVP, Directors of Leasing and property managers to ensure a strong cohesive team.
