Satellite Management Co. in Colton, CA is seeking a Leasing Agent to lease apartments and provide exceptional customer service. You will welcome prospective residents, show model units, process applications, prepare leases, and maintain accurate records.

The role emphasizes occupancy management, teamwork with the Community Manager, and timely response to service requests. Candidates should have a High School diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years in sales or customer service; Yardi Voyager

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Leasing Associate: 1 to 2 years in sales, customer service, or related field.
• Residential Leasing/Sales experience a plus.
• Previous experience with Yardi Voyager a plus.
• Proficient with computers, Windows, Internet and email.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming atmosphere and maintain a professional, friendly environment.
• Actively lease available units and nurture relationships to encourage renewals.
• Showcase the community and model apartments to prospects.
• Process applications ensuring documentation meets standards.
• Prepare leases and move-in packets timely; arrange signings.
• Maintain organized files for all residents.
• Collaborate with Community Manager on sales and marketing strategies.
• Inspect property grounds and coordinate with Maintenance as needed.
• Respond to service requests and ensure customer satisfaction.
• First to answer the phone and convert calls to leases.

Pay Scale: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

About the Role:

As a Leasing Agent, you will be instrumental in leasing apartments to prospective residents and providing outstanding customer service, your key responsibilities will include:

• Creating a Welcoming Atmosphere – Maintain a professional, friendly, and inviting environment in the community.
• Optimizing Occupancy – Actively lease available units and nurture positive relationships with current residents to encourage lease renewals.
• Showcasing the Community – Professionally demonstrate the community by showing available amenities and model apartments
• Processing Applications – Efficiently handle prospect applications, ensuring all documentation is complete and meets company standards prior to supervisor approval.
• Prepare Leases – Accurately prepare leases and move-in packets for new residents in a timely manner, arranging for lease signings before move-in.
• Maintaining Records – Keep organized and up-to-date files for all residents.
• Team Collaboration – Works with colleagues and Community Manager to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies
• Physically inspects property when out on grounds and picks up litter as needed, letting Grounds and Maintenance staff know of any possible issues.
• Performs a spiff of all vacant apartment homes to show the unit rent-ready (smells good, looks good, and creates an environment that a prospect wants to call home
• Accepts service requests from current residents and coordinates completion with Maintenance staff, following up to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Is first to answer the phone when it rings, attempting to convert every call to a lease.
• Attends work as scheduled to support the ongoing success of the company.
• Other duties, responsibilities, and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:
