You will work at Upton Place, our 196-unit luxury apartment community located in Washington, D.C.

A bit more about what you’ll do…

  • Provide admin support to leasing staff
  • Manage resident paperwork for new leases and renewals
  • Handle the entire Move-In process
  • Assist with making appointments and follow-up calls for leasing staff
  • Respond to and manage resident complaints and service issues at the Shared Service Center, coordinating with staff to resolve concerns
  • Monitor resident retention
  • Assist residents with their needs
  • Help residents pay rent online
  • Complete move-in and move-out inspections
  • Register cars for on-site parking
  • Register pets for existing residents
  • Assist with parcel deliveries
  • Enter service requests for residents
  • Answer questions regarding service requests
  • Assist with Notices to Vacate and gather move-out information
  • Communicate with residents as needed
  • Coordinate and plan resident events
  • Respond to and manage resident complaints and service issues
  • Contact residents about policy violations

Qualifications:

  • Strong administrative skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Customer service background in retail, hospitality, restaurant, or sales, with ability to meet and exceed sales goals
  • Exceptional customer service skills to address resident needs professionally and friendly
  • Reliable transportation
  • Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English

Additional Information

  • Expected base pay of $17.00 to $23.00/hour plus $35 commission per managed lease. High performers can earn an additional $700 - $1,000/month in commissions.
  • Must obtain an active Pennsylvania Real Estate license within six months of hire
  • Opportunity for extended time off with benefits during slower periods
