Qualifications

  • College degree preferred but not required; strong business math skills required.
  • Previous property management experience preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills; ability to work professionally with tenants, owners, and investors.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Working knowledge of on-site maintenance coordination and vendor management.
  • Ability to close and secure leases.
  • Valid driver's license and current auto insurance required.
  • Real Estate Sales License and/or Property Management License as required by state.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize client experience and respond to tenants and owners promptly.
  • Manage rent collection, lease renewals, unit inspections, and applicant screening.
  • Handle move-ins and move-outs accurately and in compliance with company policies.
  • Process prospective resident applications per program guidelines and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date resident and property files, including timely recertifications.
  • Review and approve vendor tickets and bills; coordinate maintenance and vendor visits.
  • Communicate property activity regularly with the Property Manager.
  • Track management activity daily, weekly, and monthly, and submit required reports to the corporate office.
  • Ensure full compliance with Fair Housing laws and company standards, in both letter and spirit.
  • Support the physical upkeep of the property to meet program requirements and standards.
  • Become proficient in the property's operating system.
  • Attend tenant evictions and court appearances as needed.

The Lease Administrator plays a key role in day-to-day property management, supporting the Property Manager in maximizing Net Operating Income through cost control, leasing, rent collection, lease administration, and property upkeep. This role involves frequent communication with tenants, owners, and the broader property management team, and requires someone who is organized, personable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities at once.

Availability

  • Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts
  • Must be available for on-call needs as required by the property
