Job summary

Insight Investments is seeking a Lease Specialist in Irvine to structure front-end deals with customers and vendors, coordinating with sales and funding teams to ensure accurate lease files and compliant documentation.

The role requires 1–2 years of equipment leasing experience, strong MS Word/Excel skills, and familiarity with Lease Wave, SharePoint and SSRS. You will manage tax handling, titling, and vendor payments in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 1-2 years equipment leasing experience.
• Moderate proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel.
• Knowledge of Lease Wave, MS SharePoint and SSRS Reports would be a plus.
• Ability to run financial calculations.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for working directly with customers, vendors, and corporate employees to structure front-end deals to facilitate administrative requirements
• Engage with sales to ensure proper account management
• Create and maintain accurate and complete lease files
• Prepare and process lease documentation, understanding Insight's contract terms and conditions
• Order placement with outside vendors and invoice reconciliation
• Have basic knowledge of material handling and titled equipment (i.e. forklifts, loaders, trucks, trailers)
• Partner frequently with 3rd party titling and registration company
• Work with internal sales tax team to assist in managing tax handling of a lease
• Coordinate with funding department regarding lease syndications
• Have a basic understanding of Insight Investments' system applications
• Equipment entry into front-end leasing system
• Knowledge and understanding of Insight's equipment coding matrix and maintenance and return provisions
• Process documents for bank line advance and vendor payments
• Update internal logs regularly to keep track of the funds needed
• Miscellaneous duties to include; filing, promptly returning phone calls and emails, file UCC's, trouble shooting
