Job summary

MVP Holdings is seeking a Lease Revenue Accountant to reconcile monthly crude oil volumes and pricing for statements and revenue distributions. The role includes assisting with state and federal compliance reporting and working with oil & gas software systems.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in oil & gas accounting, strong Excel skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams. A 401(k) with a 1:1 match up to 6% is offered, with potential for up to two remote work days per week.

Qualifications

• 4-year accounting degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years experience in oil & gas accounting.
• Knowledge of PakEnergy (WolfePak) or similar oil and gas software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Execute lease accounting and compliance processes including truck ticket reconciliations and allocations.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and assist with compliance reporting (BIA, GLO, ONRR, TX RRC T-1).
• Review suspense adjustments and process voided payments.
• Assist with annual 1099 and 1042 preparation and other tax reporting.
• Support acquisitions, due diligence, audits, and data conversions.
