Job summary

Mewbourne-Oil-Company is seeking a dedicated Lease Operator / Pumper to operate and maintain company leases in Perryton, TX. You will monitor gas production, manage fluid volumes on site, and optimize production through control adjustments on plunger wells and pumping unit timers.

Responsibilities include daily well checks, performance testing, and routine maintenance of processing equipment. A high school diploma and driver’s license are required, with oil and gas experience preferred.

• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Need strong communication, math, and basic computer skills; mechanical aptitude helpful.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily operational check of assigned wells.
• Tests wells to determine production rates and problems.
• Oversees daily operations of oil and gas processing equipment.
• Identifies equipment problems and assists in installation, repair and maintenance of facilities and equipment.
• Monitors plunger wells and makes adjustments to optimize production.
• Greases pumping units and changes stuffing box rubbers as needed.

Location: Canadian TX area, based out of our Perryton TX office

Job Summary:

Operates and maintains company leases by tracking gas production and managing fluid volumes on site. Expected to optimize production by making control adjustments to plunger wells and pumping unit timers. Responsible for day-to-day lease maintenance and needs to develop a basic understanding of starting and maintaining engines and separation equipment.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Performs daily operational check of assigned wells.
• Tests wells todetermineproduction rates and problems.
• Responsible for the daily operations ofthe oiland gas processing equipment.
• Identifiesproblems with equipment and repairs orassistsin the installation, repair and maintenance of facility and equipment.
• Performs a wide variety of tasks requiring manual labor and a broad knowledge ofan oiland gas well, production, and separation equipment.
• Monitors plunger wells andmakes adjustments tooptimizeproduction
• Greases pumping units and changes stuffing box rubbers as needed
• Attendssafetytrainingsandremainsin compliance with safety standards and expectations.
