Preferred Materials, a CRH Company, seeks a Manufacturing Operator to support safe plant operations, operate a forklift, and assist with equipment and mold maintenance. You will follow OSHA safety standards, work with maintenance and production teams, and may travel to other facilities as needed, contributing to efficient performance.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of related construction or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate and follow written or verbal instructions.

• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift efficiently and safely.
• Calibrate machines, perform general repairs, and maintain molds and equipment.
• Use power and hand tools to maintain and repair equipment.
• Clean work area and report issues to maintenance.
• Inspect forklift and ensure safe operation.
• Travel to other company facilities as needed.
• Interact professionally with peers, contractors, and the public.
• Stand for long periods in hot conditions.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Must be able to efficiently operate a forklift.
• Adjusts calibration of machines, makes general repairs and cleans/installs molds and all parts of the machinery as needed to maintain safe operations.
• May use power and hand tools to maintain and repair equipment
• Shovels, sweeps and rakes up debris from base of machinery.
• Communicates effectively and efficiently with all personnel.
• Properly conducts inspections of the forklift to ensure safe operation and reports any issues to maintenance.
• Maintains work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Maintains a strict adherence to company policies, safety policies, and OSHA regulations at all times.
• Must be available to travel and work from other company facilities as needed.
• Must possess a professional attitude while interacting with peers, contractors and general public.
• Stands for long periods of time in hot weather or current conditions
• May perform other related duties as required or directed. Including to travel and work from other company facilities as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate, understand, and follow both written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to use basic hand tools and complete basic mechanical repairs.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays when necessary. Regular and timely attendance is required.
• Must pass pre-employment requirements, drug screen, criminal background check.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must demonstrate a strong commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of related construction experience preferred.
• Mechanical knowledge and skills are preferred.
