Job summary

ITAC Solutions in Birmingham, AL is seeking an accounting professional to join a stable, family-owned company building a specialized function around its growing rental fleet. The role centers on lease structures, asset lifecycles, and lender reporting to support rental operations expansion.

You’ll work with the Controller to set up synthetic leases, reconcile schedules to the GL, and analyze asset valuations.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of synthetic leases and structured financing arrangements.
• Strong understanding of ASC 842 lease accounting.
• Background supporting asset-based lending or equipment financing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain synthetic lease arrangements, including terms, payment schedules, and residual values
• Reconcile lease schedules to the general ledger
• Track asset lifecycle from acquisition through disposition
• Calculate and record depreciation on capitalized assets
• Analyze residual value assumptions and asset valuations
• Prepare schedules for audits, financial reporting, and lender reporting
• Perform profitability analysis on the rental fleet
