Job summary

Lake Orion Carpenter Elementary is seeking a Learning Support Specialist to assist students who struggle with reading. The role involves organizing small-group lessons, collaborating with general education teachers, and maintaining progress records for individual students.

You will communicate student progress to parents and design flexible schedules to maximize the impact of small groups. A Bachelor’s degree with in-education training and a teaching certificate are required, with a reading

• Effective use of relevant technology.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Education
