Key Responsibilities:

As a Learning Support Assistant (LSA), your role will include:

• Assisting teachers with classroom activities and lesson preparation across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
• Providing personalised one-on-one and small group support to students with special educational needs.
• Helping to create and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
• Implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and assisting teachers in delivering tailored learning activities.
• Supporting students with personal care needs, where required.
• Monitoring and reporting on student progress to teachers and parents.
• Preparing learning materials and classroom resources.
• Participating in school events and activities to foster a vibrant school community.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

• Prior experience as a 1:1/SEN Learning Support Assistant or in a similar role.
• Experience in supporting children with special educational needs.
• A genuine passion for working with children with SEN.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
• A proactive approach to learning and a strong desire to progress in education.
• Relevant qualifications or training in special education (a plus).
• Availability for full-time, long-term commitment.
