Brooklands College is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join a team supporting learners across curriculum areas. You will provide 1:1 and small-group support, helping students develop reading, writing and maths skills, and assist during exams.

The role requires good IT, numeracy and strong oral and written communication. A relevant LSA qualification is advantageous and the college emphasizes an inclusive, supportive learning environment and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• A relevant LSA qualification or willingness to take one is an advantage.
• Good IT, numeracy, oral and written communication skills.
• Understanding of Additional Learning Support functions.

Responsibilities

• Support learners 1:1 or in small groups across levels.
• Assist with reading, writing and maths skills.
• Support students during exams.
• Keep careful records of LSA support provided.
