Are you a nurturing and enthusiastic individual with a passion for helping children thrive? GSL Education is excited to be recruiting a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work 1:1 with a child with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a friendly and inclusive primary school in Brentwood.

Starting this September, this is a full-time, long-term opportunity that’s perfect for someone who wants to make a real impact—while being part of a supportive and welcoming school community.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Supporting a child on a 1:1 basis to help them access learning and feel confident in the classroom

Collaborating with the class teacher and SENCO to follow tailored support plans

Encouraging independence, positive behaviour, and emotional well-being

Using creativity and patience to adapt learning activities in a way that works for the child

Helping create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where all children feel supported

What We’re Looking For:

Experience supporting children with SEN (e.g., Autism, Speech & Language Needs, ADHD)

A calm, encouraging, and proactive attitude

Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for education

A team player who’s ready to get stuck in and make a difference

An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

Right to work in the UK
