Job summary

Assurant is seeking an Associate Instructional Designer to support training administration, scheduling, reporting, and development within the ATA. This hybrid role collaborates with the Training Academy and subject matter experts to build industry-leading curriculum for Assurant and automotive markets.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in instructional design, proficiency with Salesforce, and experience designing across classroom and online formats using the ADDIE model.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with minimum 2 years in instructional design.
• Knowledge of current instructional theories and online/instructor-led learning.
• Creative training material development across formats; storyboard and user guides.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate training requests, scheduling, registrations, and event management through Salesforce.
• Maintain training records, class updates, field team changes, and enrollment processes.
• Support classroom logistics, training materials, equipment readiness, and supply management.
• Manage invoicing, payment reconciliation, refunds, and financial tracking/reporting.
• Provide exceptional customer service and administrative support to customers, field teams, and trainers.
• Coordinate travel information, class communications, certification requests, and onboarding support for new team members.
• Assist with Field Operations and F&I training program delivery and administration.
• Design, develop, and maintain learning solutions across classroom, virtual, online, and blended environments.
• Create instructional materials including curricula, assessments, job aids, exercises, tutorials, and performance support resources.
• Partner with SMEs to define learning objectives and develop training programs.
• Implement QA by incorporating learner feedback and performance data into improvements.
• Support knowledge management and integrate Knowledge Base resources into learning strategies.
• Monitor course quality, content accuracy, and learner experience through LMS administration.
• Research and recommend innovative learning technologies and trends to enhance training.
